My advisor said every writer should have a webpage.
So, I put together this site to share my progress on various writing projects, with the ultimate goal being to one day have my work published.
My preferred writing styles/genres are (in order): comic book scripts, screenwriting, fiction (short story), and playwriting. Be on the lookout as I share snippets and tidbits of my work here in this blog.
I also consider myself to be a lifelong learner; therefore, you may also see me share my thoughts on movies I watch and (comic) books I read.
To kick things off, I thought I'd share my one professional writing credit. Nine years ago Somerset Community College in South Central Kentucky announced a new web series called "Summerfalls," and asked people to come up with scripts centered around students on a small college campus.
I drafted a screenplay - 'The Choices We Make' - which was selected and produced by the department to be episode 1 in the series.
So, a higher education institution of learning reviewed my script, and felt it was worth the time and energy to produce. That's counts as a professional credit, right?
